The Tragedy of Opportunity

13 07 2008

“I’m asking you to believe, Not just in my ability to bring about change in Washington…I’m ask you to believe in yours.”~Senator Barack Obama

There is in old saying that opportunity only knocks only once. I disagree , in my life I’ve seen a great deal of opportunity for both myself and others. Some seized , with still more being relented to time, but most simply going unrecognized. Others believe that these presentations are simply a matter of luck attributed to either good or bad representing their lot in life.

More interestingly though are the ones who believe that luck is where “opportunity meets preparation ” spending their entire lives in pursuit of perpetual preparedness. Whose do diligence is unique among all others. It is most unfortunate that often it is through their pursuit of preparation that lends opportunity in a never ending succession to those whose doors would under most circumstances never be struck.

Through the repetition of Presidential elections the U.S. once again, find it’s self presented with an opportunity for the Illusive to become reality. Yet through Senator Obama’s self doubt we find the lack of preparedness to implement change through ACTION, Instead we find our belief simply a “Compromise” to the pandering for the NEOCONSTRUCTS vote.

The tragedy of this opportunity, is that H.R. 6304(FISA) would have passed without Senator Obama’s support. It is through this attempt to appear strong on NATIONAL SECURITY issues, that should now call into question not only our belief in the ability, but the willingness to bring about change in Washington.

“Okay so you’re disappointed in Senator Obama’s self-doubt, or his vote issues”

I find no disappointment in the Senator Obama’s self-doubt, In fact I find it refreshing and very Human, and for his voting issues I have learned to expect nothing less. Asking why is not an attack , But it is, relevant to the understanding as to “how” to straighten these problems out.

As for the two front runners Both are capable of bringing about the changes this country seeks, and both can stand on their own merits. But once we’ve chosen can we?

Okay so you’re disappointed in Senator Obama’s self-doubt, or his vote issues. Do you have another candidate ready to take the place of the two front runners who are truly less up front than first imagined? The world knows what it wants and it is opposite of what I’m looking for. You’re right: “word no longer reflects deed” so buying into it is truly “illusive.”

Asking “why” keeps us stuck in the problem; instead we should be asking “how” to straighten it out. But that answer may not be realized from this election either.

“There is wisdom in the council of many.”

I will not raise Senator Obama to the level of Prophetics past. But I would point out that it is The council’s many wisdoms that has Brought us to the Prophecies. Which if true than one must recognize the choice is not the peoples, For it was made long ago.

As Blind Faith is not required for support, Then someone must ask why, when word no longer reflects deed.

There are a great many people hoping Senator Obama becomes the next president; their dream, their hope will certainly be met with their abilities to help him enact change that’s wanted. One might even say that he embodies their ambitions to leave behind an America that’s promoted self-annihilation within the last 20 years. Beginning with Reagan and the many executive orders that have placed the power of this Republic into the hands of the Executive branch of government; we have lost our own power as a people to govern ourselves. That is why it’s so exciting to be pulling for Obama. In essence we are pulling for ourselves! I don’t mind the inexperienced hand reaching out to others for knowledge. “There is wisdom in the council of many.” (KJV) I am weary of the politicians who refuse to seek wisdom before they act; Senator Obama has already shown that he is capable of seeking. The real tragedy will be if the Congress and House of Representatives do not recognize the people’s choice… once again.
